Whisper is a Macgregor 25 sloop sailboat.
The purpose of this website is to document the adventures, discoveries and memories created on Whisper.
To share with others projects and modifications.
Boat History
The boat was built in 1982. It sleeps 5 but is crowded with three. I am the third owner and was fortunate enough to inherit the boat from a PO that took very good care of the boat.
The boat came with a number of modifications and improvements, including bringing all of the sail controls to the cockpit. These include the halyards, jib sheets, jib downhaul, lazy-jacks, and boom vang.
It came with 5 sails, mainsail, jib, genoa, spinnaker and a gennaker.
